A native of the Maritimes and proud of her Acadian roots, Dr. Danielle Richard earned her degree in optometry from the University of Montreal in 2018. Immediately after graduation, she took on the role of a traveling optometrist, serving communities across Quebec. She has also contributed to humanitarian initiatives, including a trip to Ecuador to provide eye care to underserved populations.
During her studies, she distinguished herself through her exceptional dedication as class president and president of the optometry student association, demonstrating her leadership and passion for the profession. Dr. Richard expanded her expertise in eye health during a training internship at the Institut de l'œil des Laurentides, supervised by renowned ophthalmologists. As a mother of two young daughters, she deeply understands the importance of attentive and personalized care. She is dedicated to providing superior care to her patients, guided by a deep understanding of the importance of visual health.
