Why do the prices of progressive lenses vary so much?
Progressive lenses are complex lenses designed to correct both distance and near vision in people with presbyopia. These lenses can create blurry areas due to the transitions between different distances, and the quality of manufacturing plays a key role in reducing these distortions.
Basic progressive lenses often have a narrower field of vision, which can lead to swaying effects or discomfort when working at a computer or reading. More advanced models use modern technologies to widen the field of vision, reduce distortion, and provide optimal visual comfort at all distances. The more precise and ergonomic the correction, the higher the price may be.
