Originally from Gatineau, where he also grew up, Dr. Georges Louis earned his doctorate in optometry from the University of Montreal in 2018. During his studies, he enriched his experience with an internship at a veterans' hospital in the United States and participated in a humanitarian trip to Ecuador, demonstrating a deep commitment to eye health.
After completing his studies, he worked as a flying optometrist, constantly traveling by plane to serve more than 20 clinics across underserved regions of Quebec. These frequent trips inspired him to take a piloting course, leading to a deep passion for aviation. The clinic's name, "Altitude," reflects this passion. A private pilot with several hundred hours of flight time, Dr. Louis holds instrument and multi-engine flight ratings and is currently working on his commercial license.
His aeronautical perspective drives him to strive for excellence, enriching his approach to optometry and symbolizing his commitment to achieving excellence in practice and patient care.
